MANNY BURROLA

Manny was born in Juarez, Mexico, immigrated to El Paso in 1979, and finally joined the Alliance in 2007. He has been an active Hispanic 12-step society member for over 14 years, and observes his recovery anniversary on January 28, 1995. His extensive service work includes several local and regional service positions with his recovery fellowship. He has represented the recovery community in various health fairs sponsored by UTEP & EPCC, and participates in his fellowship’s Hispanic Committee for Corrections and Facilities in El Paso. He has appeared as a recovery speaker on El Paso local channel 26 (Spanish), and also has spoken at the county hospital. Currently, Manny is involved in the Public Information committee for his fellowship’s district.
